Auction Me is an innovative webcast auction company founded and run by me, Michael Roberts.

Born into an antique dealing family and attending auctions as a child,I have always been fascinated by history, aesthetics and art. After attending university in Nottingham, I began my career as a fine art valuer and auctioneer, rising to the position of Company Director in a major South East England auction company. Whilst working for this company, I earnt my 'White Gloves' - the traditional accolade for an auctioneer who conducts a sale where every lot sells: an almost unheard of achievement. Also during this period, I appeared frequently on BBC TV in the programme Bargain Hunt developing a skill and passion for engaging with clients in a professional, fair and friendly manner.

These experiences, combined with a passion for technology and innovation, have led me to develop Auction Me - a refined and efficient auction service fit for the 21st Century. With commission charged at around half the level of traditional competitors, expert valuation and brilliant marketing, Auction Me is dispensing with the traditional saleroom and uniting beautiful and interesting artworks with global buyers via live, accessible and entertaining webcasts.
